Grad News

Did you miss the grad parent meeting on September 27th? Here’s what you missed:

Grad Wear orders are due October 19th. This will be your only chance to order Grad 2018 hoodies and sweats! We do not order extras of Grad Wear so don’t miss out. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!

Grad Cruise is coming up! Cost for the cruise is $85 per person and covers transportation to and from the cruise, dinner aboard the MV Harbour Princess, and a 3-hour cruise around False Creek and Indian Arm. If you are bringing a guest, the guest forms AND payment must be submitted by Friday, September 19th. Guest interviews will be conducted on October 18th and 19th. We must have a minimum of 100 guests in order to have the cruise proceed! Permission forms can be picked up in the library. All school fees must be paid in advance of purchasing Grad Cruise tickets!

Grad photos are scheduled for November 20-24th. Photo sessions are free if you only want to have a photo taken for the yearbook and the grad composite displayed on the wall. If you would like multiple photos taken by the photographer, the cost is $10 and a proof package will be mailed to you. Photos are booked online. More information will be relayed to grads when online booking opens.

Measurements for grad gowns will take place on November 20th and 21st.

Grad Ceremonies: will occur at the Christian Life Assembly (near the Langley Airport) on June 14th. Grad rehearsal is at 1:45pm-3:00pm, all grads must find their own way to rehearsal (gowns not necessary for rehearsal) and all grads attending convocation must attend. Grads must be back to CLA by 5pm to line up for ceremonies, doors for guests will open at 5:30pm. Convocation ceremonies will run from 6-8:30pm (approx.)

Strawberry Tea & Grad Banquet: will occur on June 15th. Strawberry Tea tickets will be available mid-May at a cost of approx $12-$15 per person. Strawberry Tea will occur in the big gym from 3:30-5pm, all grads (and dates if applicable) must attend. Group Photo at 3:45 in the courtyard. Grads will load coaches at 5pm to travel to the Grad Banquet at the Quality Inn in Abbotsford. At 11pm, coaches will take the grads to the Dry Grad event sponsored by the Dry Grad parent committee (event TBD.)
