We have had many graduates move from House to Rep Hockey and from Rep Hockey to the WHL. As long as your goal is to improve your skill at whatever level you are at, this is the program for you!
We are pleased to once again have Chris Price lead our on ice instruction team. Chris brings many years of expert on and off ice training and coaching experience. Chris is an ACSS grad, was part of the original ACSS Hockey Academy, Aldergrove Minor Hockey grad, and had a great Jr B career in the PJHL. Chris works at both Yale and Impact Hockey as a skills coach and fitness trainer. Mark Craven, owner of Dynamic Goaltending will also be back for another year and looks forward to teaching goaltenders the fundamentals to take their game to the next level, in a fun and competitive environment.
We are also very pleased to announce that Matt Keith has joined our instruction team this year. Matt’s roots are also definitely local. Matt was a student at BGMS during its inaugural year, attended ACSS until he moved away to play Major junior “A” hockey; he is an Aldergrove Minor Hockey graduate. He then went on to play 5 years in the WHL with Spokane and Red Deer and was a second round pick of the Chicago Blackhawks. He played several years in the NHL and AHL (as the Captain of the Abbotsford Heat) before moving to Europe and enjoying a very successful 15 year hockey career. Matt retired from professional hockey this year and has moved back to Langley with his wife and young family. He is very excited to come full circle and work with Aldergrove hockey players.
