We are beginning the course planning process for the 2017 – 2018 school year. This is an important time of year where students are making decisions about what courses they would like to take and what opportunities they will take advantage of next year and beyond. It is really important that parents have a good understanding of the course planning process and how good course selections now can help pave the way for post – secondary opportunities upon graduation. Please note the following dates and times for our upcoming course planning information evenings:
1. Wednesday February 22nd at 7:30 pm we will be hosting our grade 9 – 11 course planning information evening in the ACSS library. The purpose of the evening is to discuss the course planning process, provide information around new grad requirements and to inform parents about what opportunities are available to students during the 2017-2018 school year.
2. Wednesday February 22nd at 6:45 pm we will also be hosting our grade 8 course planning information evening in the ACSS library, just prior to the grade 9 – 11 course planning evening.
3. Thursday February 22nd at 7:00 pm we will be hosting our French Immersion parent information evening. More details will be send directly to parents of students in the French Immersion Program.
We look forward to seeing you at the course planning information evenings.
